Things I Love: Pens
It’s time for another installment of Things I Love. This time I’m talking about my love for another type of writing implement: pens.
Even though I do love the pencil (see my previous article on the subject) I have to admit I’m also a huge fan of a good pen (or two). Sometimes you just want or need to write or draw or whatever in ink. If so, a good pen is a must.
There are two main types of pens I use regularly: gel pens and fountain pens. I will also, on occasion, use a ballpoint or other type of pen. But for the most part, gel pens and fountain pens fulfill the majority of my pen needs.
There are lots of pens out there and it might be hard to narrow it down. Fortunately, I’ve gone through a lot of pens over the years and I’ve been able to decide on a couple absolute favorites to use each and every day.
Gel Pens
When you just need a pen (or three) to have with you at all times in your bag, purse, office, car or wherever. It’s a gel pen that writes smooth and never clogs or gives me any trouble. I used the Uni 207 for many years, but this one has now taken its place as my favorite gel pen.
